The Coast Wide Food Bank Drive is back!

Saturday, May 30, from 10am – 3pm

Join us for this annual community effort to help stock our local food banks:
Sunshine Coast Food Bank (SCCSS)
TSA on the Coast Bart's Gibsons, Foodbank & Hot Lunch
Harbour Food Bank Society

Every donation makes a difference! We’re collecting non-perishable foods in jars and cans - think sauces, soups, beans, honey, peanut butter, and canned seafood.

You are invited to drop off your cash or food donations to the following locations:

All proceeds from our 2 Thrift Stores provide food to vulnerable people on the Sunshine Coast. After hour dumping of ‘donations’ are unusable and the cost of disposal reduces our ability to provide these food security programs. (We also no longer accept furniture)

Yesterday we had fun at our third annual Kettle volunteer appreciation, hot chocolate social. Thank you to gibsons and Klauss Enterprise for the hot chocolate donation. Huge massive thank you to all our Kettle volunteers, sponsors, donors and kettle locations who helped us exceeded our goal and bring in a record $95,417 this year!!! That will help us feed a lot of people in our communities!
