The Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) and Intellectual Property Office of Trinidad and Tobago (TTIPO) have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation on intellectual property (IP) and support the longstanding warm relationship between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago.

The MOU establishes a framework for collaboration to enhance IP systems, promote innovation, and support innovators and enterprises in both countries. Under the agreement, CIPO and TTIPO may exchange information on the development and experiences of both IP offices, share data and best practices, cooperate on capacity-building and professional development projects, and collaborate further in various IP-related fields of mutual interest.

This partnership represents the enduring friendship between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago, and reinforces their shared commitment to supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
