📅 Friday, September 18 – If Friday is your regular garbage collection day, please have your bagged leaves and yard waste out by collection day.

This past weekend’s food festival was a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without YOU! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who came out, enjoyed some delicious food, supported local vendors, and made the weekend so special.

Please be advised that the automatic door-opening button at the accessible entrance on the west side of the Visitor Centre, located at 10 King Street East, is currently out of service. The door itself remains operational. If you require assistance opening the door, please ring the doorbell and a staff member will be happy to assist you. ⏰ Applications must be received by 4:00 p.m.

Apply today for Intake #3 of the Tourism Advisory Panel (TAP) funding program.

TAP is an application-based, cost-sharing program that supports projects and events that:

🎉 Attract visitors to Gananoque
🚀 Encourage the development of new tourism products
🏗️ Support tourism investment
👥 Have the capacity to draw more than 5,000 attendees

👉 Events expecting fewer than 5,000 attendees are still eligible and will be assessed using the same criteria.

💰 Approved projects may receive funding for up to 50% of eligible costs, as determined by the Advisory Panel.

This intake supports events taking place Fall/Winter 2026).

Rural Ontario Development Cost-Share Fund

Business Development Stream
The Rural Ontario Development (ROD) Program provides cost-share funding to help small rural businesses strengthen their operations, improve competitiveness, and contribute to local economic growth.

The program supports projects that address barriers to economic development, build business capacity, attract and retain investment, and create or maintain jobs within rural communities.

Eligible businesses can receive 35% of project costs, up to a maximum of $10,000.

General eligibility: Businesses must have 1–20 employees, be operating at the time of application, and be paying agricultural, commercial or industrial property tax either directly or through rent or lease.

Application deadline is October 1, 2026. Funding is awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.
