🍂 Arcadia’s 2026 Fall Clean-Up is coming up! 🍂

It’s time to clear out those larger household items and get ready for fall clean-up across Arcadia.

đź“… Collection dates:
• Cambridge-Narrows & Wickham — Monday October 19
• Waterborough — Tuesday October 20
• Cambridge & Upper Gagetown — Monday October 26
• Gagetown — Tuesday October 27
• Hampstead — Wednesday October 28

A few important reminders before you put your items out:
♻️ Please consider local recycling options for recyclable items before putting them in the garbage.
📦 All waste must be properly bagged, bundled, or boxed. Glass must be placed in a cardboard box and labelled.
🗑️ NEW: If your clean-up date falls on your regular garbage day, please keep your regular garbage bags separate from your “big garbage” items. This will help the extra collection crews manage the larger volume of refuse.
đźš« Items that will not be picked up include fridges, freezers, air conditioners, construction and renovation materials, roof shingles, car parts, and grass cuttings.

For more information, contact BMI at 506-209-0669.

Thanks for helping us keep clean-up day safe and organized for everyone!

♻️ Tuesday Recycling Tip! ♻️

Seeing the recycling symbol doesn’t always mean an item belongs in your recycling cart!

Residential recycling collection is specifically for packaging — things like containers, cans, cartons, and other packaging materials. Non-packaging items such as toys, planters, storage containers, and other household items should not go in your recycling cart, even if they have a recycling symbol on them.

When in doubt, ask yourself: “Is this packaging?” 📦

♻️✨ Introducing Arcadia's Recycling Working Group! ✨♻️

Did you know that Arcadia has established a Recycling Working Group composed of interested citizens who are working to encourage more recycling in our community? 🌎

The cost for the collection of recyclables is now covered entirely by the producers of packaging through a new not-for-profit organization called Circular Materials. By recycling, residents help divert waste from the landfill and reduce the municipality's use of taxpayer dollars to cover the regional landfill's operations. 🗑️➡️♻️

🔎 The Arcadia Recycling Working Group will be looking for ways to increase the level of recycling in our community and will be posting Tuesday Recycling Tips to share helpful information about recycling in Arcadia!

đź“… Keep an eye out for recycling information and tips every Tuesday!
