Are you aged between 12 and 18, and looking for new challenges?

Our sea cadets unit might be perfect for you!

We meet every Wednesday at Carleton Armoury, 10 Carleton St, Fredericton.

We will host a cadet/parent information session on Wednesday September 6th at 18:30 where we will present our activities and answer your questions.

As a sea cadet, you will learn the basics of sailing, ropework, boat driving, marksmanship, leadership and more!

It's also free to join!

Are you hesitant to join alone? Just bring a friend along!

Happy New Year everyone!

RCSCC Fredericton will resume it's activities on Wednesday January 11th with a sports and fitness evening! Don't miss this out!

January is still a good time to join our cadet unit! If you are aged between 12 and 18, and like challenges, our cadet unit is for you.

Between sports, sailing, seamanship, ropework, marksmanship, leadership and more, there is something for everyone.

Join us at Carleton Armoury (10 Carleton Street, Fredericton) on Wednesday from 18:30 to 20:45 to try our activities. Even better, bring a friend along!

Hello cadets,

Here is the info for our special cooking class this Wednesday!

Logging time : 1840
Dismissal : 2000

We will be cooking 2 recipes that night and here are the ingredients you will need:

1st Recipe - Homemade Wendy's Frosty!
Chocolate milk
1 can of Sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand)
Cool whip (Dream whip and Whip cream will work too)

2nd Recipe - Microwave fudge!
3 cups of chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk or both)
1 can of sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand)
1 Marshmallow (yes, just one!)
2 tablespoons of butter (coconut oil or Margarine will work too)
1 Teaspoon of your favorite extract (Vanilla, orange, mint, etc.)
Access to a microwave and microwaveable bowl

You can cook the recipe at the same time as the instructor or on your own time. We encourage you to share your goodies with your family and also take pictures! Let the best looking Frosty and fudge win!

Following last week's announcement regarding vaccines and the extra measures added in schools, we decided to switch to virtual training for the remaining of September while we evaluate the situation.

Here is the schedule for the next two weeks :

September 22nd : Virtual training, 18:45 to 20:00
September 29th : Virtual training , 18:45 to 20:00

Wednesday June 2nd will be our virtual Annual Cadet Review. This ceremony is the last parade of the year and showcases the work of our cadets.

We invite cadets, parents and family members to attend from the comfort of their home.

This ceremony will contain a photo montage of the year, 2 medals will be awarded to cadets and we will have a change of command ceremony between Major Scott Rowe, CD and Lt(N) Charles Laviolette Fagnant.

(UPDATED) INCOMING MESSAGE!

We have received reports that Mr. Chris Perry, Official Historian of the Royal Canadian Navy, will be hosting an online presentation, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND ALL CADETS/STAFF at large on Wednesday April 28. Start time is 2000 hrs Eastern and is expected to last approximately 60 minutes.

The special presentation will explore the history of the Battle of the Atlantic, including the critical contributions of the Royal Canadian Navy.
