The Pauline Spatz Leadership Award (PSLA) is a philanthropic award that we distribute every year to someone who gives their time, energy and resources to make their community a better place.

Hello Moncton! We are excited to be hosting a Minds in Motion workshop near you! This session will take place on June 17th, at the YMCA Moncton North from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Join us for some fun, low-impact exercises, followed by a series of mentally stimulating brain games!

This event is intended for people living with early to mid stages of Alzheimer’s disease, or any other types of dementia, along with their caregivers, partners, family, and friends. See you there!

À l'attention de tous les habitants de Moncton! Le 16 juin, de 14 h à 15 h 30, nous organisons un atelier Minds in Motion ouvert à toutes les personnes intéressées.

Cet événement se déroulera au Faubourg du Mascaret, et débutera par une promenade accessible pendant la première demi-heure. Ensuite, les participants s'adonneront à des jeux cérébraux ludiques destinés à stimuler l'esprit!

Ce programme est conçu pour les personnes atteintes de la maladie d’Alzheimer à un stade précoce ou intermédiaire, ou des troubles neurocognitifs. Les aidants, les amis et les membres de la famille sont également encouragés à y participer!

Attention all Moncton residents! On June 16th, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., we are offering a Minds in Motion workshop for all those who are interested.

This event will take place at the Faubourg du Mascaret, starting with an accessible walk for the first half an hour. After that, participants will do some fun brain games to help strengthen the mind! The workshop will be in French.

Attention all residents of Sackville! We have got a fun event coming your way on June 16th, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. - a Minds in Motion session!

This event provides both physical and mental exercise for people living with early or mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease, as well as all other forms of dementia.

Caregivers, friends, and family members are welcome to join in on the fun, too!
Participants will engage in some light exercise along with some mentally stimulating activities at the Sackville Visitor Information Centre – a chance to socialize and get to know the other members of your community!

This program provides a great opportunity to get involved in your community by socializing and meeting new people! Hello Moncton caregivers! The Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick is holding two Caregiver Support Network sessions from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 11th. This in-person event will be held at the Moncton Shannex, and is directed towards people who care for someone who is in any stage of Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia.

Participants will meet to discuss their experiences with Alzheimer’s, as well as to share advice that will help and support each other. If you wish to register for this event, please email [email protected] or call 1-800-664-8411. We look forward to hearing from you!

The IG Wealth Management Walk For Alzheimer's was a resounding success across 6 communities in New Brunswick.

In Moncton, more than 100 participants enjoyed walking, chatting with friends, taking selfies at the Memory Wall, playing games, eating snacks, and winning door prizes!
