While in Campbellton I visited the Via Rail station and was surprised to find the doors locked. There is no train to Moncton for two days.

We need consistent and reliable commuter rail to connect the north and south of our province!

Lors de mon passage à Campbellton, je me suis arrêté à la gare de VIA Rail et j’ai été surpris de voir que les portes étaient verrouillées. Il n’y avait aucun train vers Moncton pendant deux jours.

Nous avons besoin d’un service ferroviaire de transport collectif fiable pour relier le nord et le sud de notre province!

What happened to the solar retrofit program promised to New Brunswickers by the Holt government?

Two years after that commitment was made, we're still waiting...⌛

Yet last week, Premier Holt told CBC:

“If we want to see solar programs and solar adoption grow, then that shouldn't fall onto N.B. Power. It should fall onto the government of New Brunswick, because it's in our collective best interest to have more renewable, clean, and non-emitting energy.”

Exactly!

If solar adoption is in our collective best interest, it's time to deliver on that promise.

Qu’est-il arrivé au programme provincial pour les améliorations solaire promis aux Néo-Brunswickois par le gouvernement Holt?

Deux ans après, nous attendons toujours...⌛

Pourtant, la semaine dernière, la première ministre Holt a dit à CBC :

« Si nous voulons voir les programmes solaires et l’adoption de l’énergie solaire prendre de l’ampleur, cela ne devrait pas relever d’Énergie NB. Cela devrait relever du gouvernement du Nouveau-Brunswick, parce qu’il est dans notre intérêt collectif d’avoir davantage d’énergie renouvelable, propre et sans émissions. »

Exactement!

Si l’adoption de l’énergie solaire est dans notre intérêt collectif, il est temps de respecter cette promesse.

Applications for the leadership contest of the Green Party of New Brunswick will open on August 4, and the leadership convention is set for December 5.
