Cpl. MacIsaac and Cpl. Blackmore were all smiles at the Forteau Bakeapple Folk Festival, engaging with families and members of the community.

The pair shared information and their experiences with attendees interested in careers with the RCMP, and showed off some police equipment.

Some of the younger attendees enjoyed stickers and temporary tattoos too!

Thank you to the Southern Labrador Development Association - SLDA and the Forteau Lions Club for the having us! We appreciate everyone who took the time to stop by and speak with our officers.

Thanks to everyone who supported the Forteau Lions Club and our 47th annual Labrador Straits Bakeapple Folk Festival. It was great to see so many out, even after a very busy Come Home Year week. Community spirit is strong here in the Labrador Straits and as Mayor of Forteau I am so proud of our town of Forteau. A tremendous couple of weeks of laughter, fellowship and making new memories! The continued support from Canadian Heritage and the Labrador Fisherman's Union Shrimp Company was greatly appreciated, as was the efforts of the many volunteers!
