Fort Qu'Appelle & District Lions Club The Lions Club is a service organization. The Vision Statement is to be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.

The Mission Statement is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions Clubs. Lions International promotes the principles of good government and good citizenship; takes an active interest in the civic, cultural, social, and moral welfare of the community; encourages service minded people to serve the

ir community without personal financial reward, and to encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards in commerce, industry, professions, public works and private endeavors.

2026 marks Fort Qu'Appelle & District Lions Club 65 anniversary. We would like to celebrate this event with a free pancake breakfast for the citizens Town of Fort Qu'Appelle and Rural Municipality of North Qu'Appelle No. 187.
This is our way of thanking you for supporting the Club through the years.
Breakfast will be on June 14th from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lions Cook Shack by the main beach in the Fort Campground.
Come out and help us celebrate you.

Have you purchased your 2026 tickets for this year's Fort Qu'Pelican River Race. We will be selling tickets at the Co-op Grocery store every Friday from 3 to 8 and Saturdays and Sundays from open to close.
Tickets are available from the following locations merchants: Beach's Pet Place KrauseCare Pharmacy, the Hair Hut, Classic Kuts, Hansen and Ross House Gallery and the Fort Qu'Appelle Legion lounge.
Tickets are also available from all members of the Club, members of the Sunshine Learning Centre and Fort Qu'Appelle Historical Society members.
Special thanks to FHQ Health Services for their support in selling tickets as well.
Also special thanks to Echo Valley Motor Products for including a ticket withe purchase of any vehicle and Echo Electric Ltd for providing a ticket for all service work until June 30th.

Presentations were made last night to 4 local organizations from funds provided to the Club by Sask Lotteries. These funds are given to the Club to present to local organizations that promote sport, culture and youth.
The funds this year were presented to the following organizations:
1. Bev Duthie, with the Fort Qu'Appelle Outreach and Foodbank
2. Cindy Focht with the the Calling Lakes Choir
3. Jennifer Dolmage, with the the Mid Summers Arts Festival
4. George Ferguson, with the Fort Qu'Appelle Curling Club
