In honour of BC’s Disability Employment Month, join the Fort Nelson WorkBC Centre and the Fort Nelson Public Library as we recognize people with disabilities across the BC workforce and the employers and organizations who support them.

Kayla from the Fort Nelson WorkBC Centre was in today working on this fantastic display at the library. The display helps bring awareness to disability employment, recognize the important role people with disabilities play in BC’s workforce, and help reduce stigma.

While you are here, take part in the BC Employment Month Feedback Challenge. Anonymously share your experiences working as a person with a disability, working with those with disabilities, or hiring and employing people with disabilities.

After completing the feedback challenge, you can also enter your name for a chance to win a gift basket.

Stop by the Fort Nelson Public Library throughout September to check out the display, share your experience, and help support greater awareness of disability employment in our community.
