Another day, another amazing gesture from one of our community partners!

Thanks to Suncor Energy, the Squadron has secured some one-year-old seedlings of various trees and shrubs. Used in the reclamation of disturbed sites, those seedlings are grown from locally collected seeds, and offer the most adapted plants you can get for our city.

There are 2 ways you can support us:
• Option A: Don’t have a yard, or don’t like to get dirty? Purchase seedlings and let us plant them to restore a degraded site.
• Option B: Purchase your own seedlings and plant them yourself.

Act quickly, quantities are limited. Deadline for orders is June 9, 2026; orders will be available soon after with pickup details announced once confirmed.

Following the ACR, the Squadron Sponsoring Committee Chair, Jo Day, was pleased to accept a $5000 sponsorship cheque from Cuyler Green, Vice President of Operations and Infrastructure for Fort McMurray Airport Authority (FMAA).
Fort McMurray International Airport - YMM have been long-time supporters of our squadron and we truly appreciate their ongoing commitment.
Denean Robinson, President & CEO of FMAA, said "we believe in investing in the next generation of leaders in aviation, and it is a privilege to support our local cadets".
Mr. Green is also a squadron Civilian Instructor, teaching our Ground School program, and is a board member of the Sponsoring Committee.
