💗 NEW! New Moms Group begins on June 25th - A chance to chat with other parents of infants and learn about the other local resources available!
🧘‍♀️NEW! Summer Reset with Chantelle - As summer approaches, this is your chance to pause for an hour and reset as Chantelle from Nourished Woman guides you through a gentle breath work session
🫟 NEW! Mess Makers will be starting June 24th - Drop on by for some messy art and sensory fun!
🎨Youth Drop-In Art: Mixed Media – Get creative and design your own masterpiece!
🥕 Good Food Bag Pickup – Full 2026 schedule available.
🎨 Community Collaborations – We’re partnering with Fort Macleod Allied Arts this month for Parent and Me Paint Night
🎹 Musical Mondays – The last Musical Monday program for the summer will be on June 15th!

It’s Ages and Stages Questionnaires day!

Missed registration? We can accept drop-ins from 1:00-3:00pm, come on by 1905 5 Ave Fort Macleod.

This FREE event is designed for children ages 1 month to 5.5 years old and only takes about 20 minutes to complete. Each participating child gets to pick a FREE book to take home.

Our May newsletter is packed with exciting programs, events, and opportunities for families and youth, but here are a few highlights:

✨ ASQ Day – April 29th: There’s still time to register for next week!

🧁 Bake & Take: Cupcakes: A fun, hands-on baking experience for youth, registration required!

🎨 Youth Drop-In Art: Back again! No registration needed.

📋 Annual General Meeting (AGM) – May 26th at 7:00pm: Join us to learn more about our impact, celebrate the past year, and look ahead to what’s next for Kids First.

🤝 Community Resource Fair – May 27th: Connect with local organizations, discover supports, and learn more about resources available to families in our community.

- Music, movement, and interactive fun for children ages 3–6 with Miss Shelley from (and younger friends are always welcome with supervision!)
- Explore instruments, soundscapes, and rhythms with something new each week
- Hands-on play with a variety of children’s instruments. All abilities are welcome!

What to expect:
- A gentle, engaging music and rhyme experience designed for children under 2 with Miss Shelley from
- Classic songs, lullabies, fingerplays, and bonding time with your little one.
- A welcoming space for infants and toddlers to explore sound, rhythm, and connection with thier caregiver at their own pace. All abilities are welcome!

📅 Mondays 9:30 – 10:10am (just before Musical Mondays!)
