We are very excited to have a new communication board in our school yard! A heartfelt thank you to our very own Student Support and Building Services teams for helping bring this to Kinnwood.

For some, spoken words aren’t always the easiest or most effective way to communicate. This board provides another way to express needs, make choices and connect with others.

This is what inclusion looks like — continuing to shape our environment so every child can belong. 🐻💙💛

🐻 Tomorrow’s the Day, Kodiaks!

The backpacks are packed, lunches are ready (or almost ready!), and tomorrow morning our halls will once again be filled with the people who make Kinnwood such a special place — our students.

We know the night before the first day can bring all kinds of feelings: excitement, nerves, big smiles and maybe a few butterflies — for kids and grown-ups alike.

We’ll be outside tomorrow morning to welcome students, help everyone find where they need to go, and get our Kodiaks settled in for a great first day.

Prepare for the start of school by downloading Chipmunk 🐿️

It's our app for tracking school bus delays and cancellations. On Chipmunk you can track your child’s bus, as well as receive push notifications when the bus is delayed. Inclement weather cancellations are also sent out through Chipmunk.
By logging in using your parent portal credentials, you will be able to view your child’s bus information, see where it travels and receive alerts.
