Position #1: Special Events and Festivals Programmer.
The Special Events and Festivals Programmer is responsible for creating, developing, coordinating, and delivering the Town’s special events and festivals. Interested candidates are invited to complete the online application by 4:30 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Position #2: Roads Supervisor
The Supervisor of Roads is responsible for the supervision of daily activities within the roads and fleet divisions of the Public Works Department, ensuring compliance to all relevant safety standards and legislation. Interested candidates are invited to complete the online application by 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

🕳️ 🚽 2026 Sanitary & Storm Sewer Flushing and CCTV Program in Pelham

Sanitary and storm sewer flushing and CCTV will begin on September 14th. Flush and camera trucks will be in various locations north of Highway 20 (Regional Road 20) and Downtown Fonthill as they complete these works.

When: September 14th – November 30th, 2026, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, dependent on weather conditions. Heavy rain may cause some delays.

Where: Various locations North of Highway 20 (Regional Road 20) from Lookout Street to Hurricane Road and Downtown Fonthill.

What: Flush and camera trucks will be cleaning and videoing the sanitary and storm sewers to clear away debris, blockages and inspect sewer conditions. Please expect some delays when these trucks are set up to complete the work.

Why: Regular sewer flushing and CCTV reduces the likelihood of built-up debris and blockages, residential back-ups and allows the Town to assess the conditions of sewers to assist in decision making for future maintenance and repair works.

Help keep school zones safe by:
✅ Slowing down and follow posted speed limits
✅ Staying alert near crosswalks and buses
✅ Watching for kids on bikes and on foot
✅ Following crossing guard directions
