Road rehabilitation is completed in a two-step process. First, the existing asphalt is recycled on site and reused as the new road base. Later, a final asphalt driving surface will be applied. There may be several weeks or months between these stages as different contractors complete the work.

⚠️ Following recycling operations, drivers should expect a granular-like driving surface until final paving is completed later this summer. Line painting will occur after the final asphalt surface is placed, in the meantime, please drive with extra caution.

🚦 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀
Drivers should expect:
• Single lane closures during work hours
• Delays within the construction zone

Please slow down, follow posted signage, and give crews space to work safely. Thank you for your patience during these improvements.
