Great things are coming Fillmore’s way! We hope the weather stays lovely for our Wednesday night BBQ favourites BINGO night. Where the prizes are delicious!!!
A big shout out to Maurers Meats they are sponsoring TWO rounds with an entire pack of pork chops each and we have supported them by buying two rounds of goodies as well! HOLY DELICIOUS!!
Check in tomorrow to see goodies I’m picking up too.
Thank you Maurers for supporting small communities. We feel the love of a store with a door!

Hey there Fillmore Public Library Branch, Southeast Regional Library friends and fans.

Every librarian and board member has made a special impact on our community and I am forever thankful to all of you for all your amazing support these last few months. SO GRATEFUL!

We are proud to welcome Brianna to her new role as Head Librarian whos first day is on TUESDAY. She is passionate about programming and is excited to be part of our branch. She and Paige will make a fantastic team and will continue to be supported by their board.

We are all excited about the Pony Express making their way through Fillmore on June 6th. We encourage you to make a card for a resident who has made a home at the Health Centre on Tuesday. We will happily provide the paper, the pens, the envelopes and the pencil crayons! Write a letter, design a card, be as kind and creative as your heart desires. They will be delivered by Pony on June 6th!

Happy World Bee Day from Crystal and Jenna 🐝🤣
Today we made our own Bee Bath with the After School Club. Bees are so important 🌺
We also borrowed the Fillmore Health Centre Beaver Bot to create whatever our imaginations could possibly come up with and we are so grateful! The kids really enjoyed the opportunity.

Hello Fillmore Library Friends and fans what’s going on at the Library this week?

Tuesday we are celebrating World Bee Day! After School is what you’d like it to “bee” (ha! See what I did there?) you can enjoy our LEGO, check out the computer, read a book, add to your Junk Journal or come build a bee bath with Jen Wasylkowski 🐝
Wednesday we are open the evening until 7 so come grab your books and enjoy the company!
Thursday we invite our smallest library fans and their adult to join Tara Lee Grieve for a tot lot meet up! Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or caregiver come on down for a cup of coffee while the kids play! Socializing yourself and your littles is always a great way to spend the morning!

We wrapped up pre-teen/teen week with 8 amazing young folks who came for Junk Journalling with board member Dana Smith!
We had lots of donated materials that made this an exciting and fun event!
Everyone’s turned out so amazing ♥️
Dana will be making a journalling kit that will be free, accessible and available for everyone to enjoy during library hours. Woohoo! 🎉
