Sasko Manor is a Rent Geared to Income (RGI) building.
This means your rent is calculated at 30% of your gross income (before taxes).
All tenants living in RGI units are income-tested annually and must participate in this review to remain eligible for a subsidy.

The housing subsidy is the difference between your rent based on income and the unit’s market rent. Tenants must apply each year to receive and continue receiving this subsidy.

💡Equity & Eligibility
To be eligible for a Rent Geared to Income unit at Sasko Manor, tenants cannot have more than $100,000 in total equity. Any equity over $10,000 has interest calculated and is counted as income when determining rent. These guidelines help ensure subsidized housing remains fair, transparent, and available to those who need it most.
