Coming this month; a Coffee Chat “Let’s Talk About Hospice” with Community Care Hospice Services September 17th and a Healthy Aging Workshop “Building Healthy Communities” September 24th.

Yesterday was a busy day at the centre, meditation with Pathways to Serenity with Glenda, chair yoga with Vibrant Living with Tanya Willis and watercolour painting with Kelly Maw. The next paint class with Kelly is Oct. 8th, the size of this class is limited so register early if interested.

The FFSC is having a little excursion, a fall colour cruise with Liftlock Cruises out of Peterborough, through the Liftlock on a 3 hour colour cruise. A bus will depart and return from our parking lot, $45 for members, $60 for non members. There are a few seats still available, call 705-887-7007 or email [email protected] to reserve.

We are shiny and clean! Well, our floor is particularly shiny today. It was stripped, cleaned and waxed over the weekend, I swear you can see yourself in it!

The Labour Day weekend is upon us, lots to do in town. The Kawartha Arts Festival (https://kawarthaartsfestival.com/participating-artists/ is Saturday and Sunday, brought to you by a hardworking group of volunteers and if you have kids visiting or feel like a kid yourself stroll on down to the museum for Handley Lumber Kids Fest https://maryboro.ca/events/kidsfest/. And us, well nothing quite so entertaining but still exciting to us, we’re getting our hall floor stripped and waxed! lol, nothing to see here folks.
