After 4 days of intense training there are some thank you’s that need to be shared because with out the support and guidance from the people below this would not have been possible at all!

I would like to first thank Regional Deputy Chief Brandon Courtemanche for organizing the training each day with the OFC, organizing the crews from all the departments, leading and mentoring the crews and taking part in the training each day leading a crew of new and seasoned firefighters to ensure they get as much experience and pass on as much knowledge as possible. Without his effort the week would not have flowed as smoothly as it did and the firefighters would not of gotten the training they deserved. Thanks DC for all you did to make this week amazing and valuable for the firefighters!

Thanks to Captain Mike Langlois for his leadership and mentorship with the crews from all departments, working as entry control and going inside to help guide and train the crews and sharing his years of experience to help ensure the firefighters have the knowledge they need to perform the task.

Thank you to Captain Terry Chartrand of the Sables Spanish Rivers fire department who worked with all the crews as entry control and took on a leadership role to help guide and mentor the fire fighters.

Thank you to all the officers, Captain Jeremy Ryan, Lt Derek Lalonde, Lt David Gunson, our new Lt Lannie Piche who took on a lead role taking mixed crews from Espanola, Sables Spanish Rivers, Baldwin township, and Nairn into the live fire trailer and leading, mentoring and training the firefighters through all the evolutions while working on their leadership role as a company officer. We also had senior firefighters take on the role of an officer and lead crews and they did an awesome job taking on that responsibility.

A huge thank you to all the firefighters from Espanola, Sables Spanish Rivers, Baldwin and Nairn who took the time out of there busy week away from there families to come out and train like they did after already working an 8-12 hr day. This is not easy and their dedication to the craft of firefighting and their communities is second to none.

A huge thank you to the families that came came out to support the firefighters and the family members at home taking care of things to allow the members to come out and train. Without their support this would not have been possible.

Thank you to the ski hill for allowing us to use the parking lot again as it is the perfect spot to host this type of event.

Finally thank you to the OFC instructors for there wisdom and guidance to set up real life senecios to ensure we got all we could from the this amazing prop.
