๐Ÿš’ Training Night = Auto Extrication Night! ๐Ÿš’

This week, members of the Perry Fire Department spent the evening sharpening their auto extrication skills, training that helps prepare us for real-life emergencies on our roadways. From tool operation and vehicle stabilization to patient access and removal techniques, our firefighters continue to train hard so weโ€™re ready when our community needs us most.

Motor vehicle collisions can be complex and time-sensitive, which is why hands-on training like this is so important. Every scenario allows us to build confidence, improve teamwork, and strengthen the skills needed to provide safe and effective emergency response.

๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’ฅ When seconds matter, training matters.

Floods can occur at any time of year and can be caused by events such as heavy rainfall, melting snow, ice jams, costal surges, tsunamis, seiches, tidal events, and groundwater flooding. Flooding is a natural process that can be helpful in nature, but flooding becomes dangerous when it affects populated areas. Do you know what to do in a flood?
