East Hants Council has approved the following Amendments to the Community Plan:

- To reduce the minimum setback requirement for an intensive livestock operation use in the Rural Use North (RU-2) zone

- To rezone and redesignate a portion of PID 45120375, 47 MacIntosh Road, Upper Nine Mile River from Argicultural Reserve (AR) to Rural Use (RU)

Council officially approved these changes after a public hearing on April 22, 2026.
