The Elgin Fire Department association was proud to partner with Petitcodiac Fire Department and Havelock Fire Department to contribute to the cost of the new score board for the ball field. Over the years many of us have played there and now our children and community members are playing ball in that same field. It’s great to support youth in our communities.

Today we are saddened to share the passing of Lieutenant Sheila Steeves who gave whole heartedly to our Fire department and her community for 26 years of service. We wish to express our deepest sympathies to the family. Sheila’s smile and hearty laugh will always be remembered as well as her dedication to her firefighting family.
