Blythewold

Blythewold is an adventure, a passion and a project... we’re hoping to create here a sustainable farm and forest to provide, not only for our family, but a lovely retreat for others to one day share and learn about sustainable living and growing... Right now, we’re still in repair and rebuild mode, but each day brings new progress and new life to this abandoned farm and forest... visit us virtually for now... and hopefully in real time in the future... People are asking where the name came from... ‘Blythe’ is another word for ‘happy’ or ‘carefree’ and ‘wold’ is an old English - and old Danish - word for woods... we have 9 acres of farm and 16 happy acres of sustainably managed woods where wildlife can roam, free from human harm... Stay well... XO
