Annual practice permit renewal opens in early October. Save this post so you can refer back to it as you prepare.

Dental Assistants in Alberta can get ready by:
✔ completing Patient Relations Learning
✔ reviewing Continuing Competence Program requirements and learning goals
✔ confirming current practice hours
✔ reviewing and updating contact and employment information in the CADA portal
✔ renewing professional liability insurance when available

The renewal deadline is November 30.

Need help navigating the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) in the CADA portal?

Join us for a free online Navigating CCP in the CADA Portal Workshop on Thursday, September 24 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The session will walk you through the CCP Learning Plan in the portal including the self-assessment, creating learning goals, recording and reflecting on completed learning activities, and reporting practice hours. Bring your dental assistant CCP questions.
