ATTN YEG! Big Bin Events are back! 🥳

There’s no limit to how many items you can bring to a Big Bin Event.

But, some items cannot be safely accepted and need to go to an Eco Station instead ♻️

Before waiting in a long line, check that your items aren’t classified as household hazardous waste.

Check the WasteWise app or visit edmonton.ca/BigBinEvents

Update on storm-driven tree and branch debris collection Community Recycling Depots👇

Hey YEG!

The City is no longer collecting storm-driven tree and branch debris at Community Recycling Depots 🌳

Residents can bring this debris to the Eco Station or the Edmonton Waste Management Centre during regular business hours for free disposal.

Please be advised that fees may apply for other storm-driven debris, such as broken fences or materials pulled from a flooded basement ⛈️

Yard waste fees still apply for non-residential customers.

Happy National Thrift Store Day! 🎉

The Reuse Centre might not be a thrift store, but we work hand-in-hand with many of Edmonton’s amazing secondhand shops! Together, we keep items out of landfills and give them a second life. 🌍♻️

Whether we're sharing donations or championing each other's missions, we’re proud to partner with thrift stores that are just as passionate about waste diversion as we are.

Looking for a place to celebrate today? Visit the Reuse Directory https://www.edmonton.ca/programs_services/garbage_waste/reuse-directory to find a local spot near you!
