WECAN Food Basket Society of Alberta The Wecan Food Basket Society believes everyone deserves access to nutritious, affordable food, so that together, we can all eat!

Members prepay for their food basket(s) by the first Friday of each month at their nearest depot. They then return to the depot on the third Thursday—for some depots it is the third Friday—of the month and pick up their food.

Mark your calendars! On Thursday, September 10, WECAN Food Basket Society of Alberta is teaming up with Blaze Pizza in Edmonton’s Brewery District for a delicious fundraiser! 🍕❤️

Blaze Pizza will donate 25% of eligible fundraiser sales back to WECAN, helping us continue supporting individuals and families in our community.

WECAN is having a cookie fundraiser with Lilli 🍪

Starting now, until October 1st, 2026, you can email your order forms to [email protected]!

Then send the corresponding e-Transfer (with your name please!) to [email protected].

To order you must send the form and money before October 1st or we cannot put through your order 👎

Check out https://www.greatnorthcookieco.com/ to look up flavours of Great Norths Cookies and the selection they have this month ✨

Pick up is October 8th, 2026 at Jerry Forbes Centre Foundation!
