Catholic Social Services serves 20,000+ Albertans each year, offering disability support, family and child services, counselling, shelters, residential care, and newcomer settlement across 13 communities. We help people in need, regardless of religion, race, gender, ethnic origin, colour or creed, through more than 100 community-based ministries. We provide help to:
• abused children and youth at
risk
• persons with alcohol and/or drugs addictions
• individuals with physical and developmental disabilities
• new immigrants and refugees
• Men and women living with HIV/AIDS
• Individuals and families in crisis
We offer service in communities throughout central Alberta, with offices located in Edmonton, Lloydminster, Red Deer, Wainwright, and Wetaskiwin. This funding is enhanced by community support received through the annual Sign of Hope campaign. More than 60,000 people received help from our Agency in 2013.
