As organizations accelerate buyouts of condo corporations to pursue rental conversions without meaningful improvements or adequate maintenance, new protections for minority interest holders are more important than ever.

Members of our Board of Directors and GovPAC Committee were pleased to meet with MLA David Shepherd to discuss solutions to problems in Edmonton's Downtown core, with a particular focus on maintaining condo ownership as an affordable entryway to the real estate ecosystem.

📊 Monthly Market Statistics for August 2026 are here! As we move toward autumn, the Greater Edmonton Area market is showing signs of a seasonal slowdown. Sales activity eased in August while inventory remained higher than last year, giving buyers more choice. 🏘️

With prices holding relatively steady, the months ahead will depend on how well demand keeps pace with growing supply.
