A Tory government will reverse the $200 AISH claw back and make accessibility standards a priority — practical, common-sense rules that improve access to services, communication, and infrastructure.

These measures will benefit not only people with disabilities, but also seniors, newcomers, families, and really - all Albertans - because government should work for everyone.

Furthermore, we will repeal every use of the notwithstanding clause and restore the fundamental rights guaranteed under the Charter.

That includes returning to good-faith negotiations with teachers — with a clear focus on student outcomes and better working conditions for educators.

Bill 1: The Accountability & Transparency Act

We will strengthen oversight in procurement, lobbying, and public appointments — and we will put an end to backroom deals.

But rules alone are not enough.
There must be consequences.

The Tory government will:

• We will establish clear, enforceable codes of conduct
• We will create independent oversight for appointments, major contracts, and Crown corporations
• We will require stronger public reporting on finances, gifts, and travel
• We will strengthen whistleblower protections
• We will impose real penalties for misconduct — including fines, suspensions, or removal from office
• We will pursue restitution and refer matters to the proper authorities when laws are broken

No exceptions.
No protected classes.
No political immunity.

That’s how we will restore credibility, public confidence, and trust in government.
