Today, as we look back at this old newspaper article about the dream of building a community centre for Pakistani families in Edmonton, we feel proud of the vision, sacrifices, and dedication of the elders, volunteers, donors, and community leaders who made PCAE possible.
What started as a dream many years ago became a reality because people believed in unity, community service, and preserving our culture, traditions, language, and identity for future generations. This article is not just old news, it is part of our history and a reminder of how far our community has come together.
The current PCAE president and team would like to sincerely thank all past and present volunteers, board members, supporters, and families who helped build and strengthen this organization over the years. Because of their hard work and commitment, PCAE continues to serve the community today and remains a place where families come together, friendships are built, and our cultural values stay alive.
PCAE is more than just a building, it is a home for our community. It is a place for cultural programs, youth activities, seniors gatherings, family events, educational sessions, sports, celebrations, and community support for newcomers starting their lives in Canada. Our goal is to continue creating opportunities that bring people together and strengthen the spirit of unity within our community.
The current PCAE team remains committed to protecting this legacy, improving our community centre, and continuing to serve our youth, seniors, families, women, children, and newcomers with honesty, transparency, respect, and unity.
Together, we will continue building a stronger future while preserving the beautiful culture and traditions that connect us to our roots. 🇵🇰🇨🇦

آج جب ہم اس پرانے اخباری مضمون کو دیکھتے ہیں، جس میں ایڈمنٹن میں پاکستانی کمیونٹی سینٹر کے خواب کا ذکر ہے، تو ہمیں اُن بزرگوں، رضاکاروں، ڈونرز اور کمیونٹی رہنماؤں کی محنت، قربانیوں اور وژن پر فخر محسوس ہوتا ہے جنہوں نے PCAE کو حقیقت بنایا۔
کئی سال پہلے شروع ہونے والا یہ خواب آج ایک مضبوط حقیقت ہے کیونکہ لوگوں نے اتحاد، کمیونٹی خدمت، اور اپنی ثقافت، روایات، زبان اور شناخت کو آنے والی نسلوں تک پہنچانے پر یقین رکھا۔ یہ صرف ایک پرانی خبر نہیں بلکہ ہماری تاریخ کا ایک اہم حصہ ہے جو ہمیں یاد دلاتا ہے کہ ہماری کمیونٹی نے مل کر کتنا سفر طے کیا ہے۔
موجودہ PCAE صدر اور ٹیم اُن تمام سابقہ اور موجودہ رضاکاروں، بورڈ ممبران، سپورٹرز اور خاندانوں کا تہہ دل سے شکریہ ادا کرتی ہے جنہوں نے اس ادارے کو بنانے اور مضبوط کرنے میں کردار ادا کیا۔ اُن کی محنت اور خدمت کے جذبے کی بدولت PCAE آج بھی کمیونٹی کی خدمت کر رہا ہے اور ایک ایسی جگہ ہے جہاں خاندان ملتے ہیں، دوستیوں کو فروغ ملتا ہے، اور ہماری ثقافتی اقدار زندہ رہتی ہیں۔
PCAE صرف ایک عمارت نہیں بلکہ ہماری کمیونٹی کا گھر ہے۔ یہ ثقافتی پروگراموں، نوجوانوں کی سرگرمیوں، سینئرز کی محفلوں، خاندانی تقریبات، تعلیمی سیشنز، کھیلوں، جشنوں، اور کینیڈا میں نئی زندگی شروع کرنے والے نئے آنے والوں کی مدد کے لیے ایک اہم مرکز ہے۔ ہمارا مقصد ایسے مواقع پیدا کرتے رہنا ہے جو لوگوں کو ایک دوسرے کے قریب لائیں اور کمیونٹی میں اتحاد کو مزید مضبوط کریں۔
موجودہ PCAE ٹیم اس ورثے کی حفاظت، کمیونٹی سینٹر کی بہتری، اور نوجوانوں، بزرگوں، خاندانوں، خواتین، بچوں اور نئے آنے والوں کی ایمانداری، شفافیت، احترام اور اتحاد کے ساتھ خدمت جاری رکھنے کے لیے پُرعزم ہے۔
