Events like today are about more than equipment and demonstrations.
They are about building connections, inspiring future generations, and supporting the organizations that help our community thrive.
We are proud to have partnered with the Edgerton Public Library and grateful for the opportunity to work together in bringing people together.

One of the day's highlights was seeing young faces light up as they stepped into the world of firefighting.
Getting hands-on with our cutters and spreaders, learning about the jaws of life, spraying water from the fire hoses, and experiencing firsthand what it means to be a firefighter (under the watchful eyes of our trained team of course 😉)helps to plant seeds that inspire the next generation to continue protecting our community with the same passion we do now.

Today, our hearts are heavy, as we share the difficult news that one of our own dedicated firefighters while off duty was involved in a life-threatening accident.

As first responders, we stand beside our community in its toughest moments.
Today, we are asking our community to stand beside one of our own.
The road ahead will be long, and the emotional, physical, and financial challenges facing Firefighter James Nichol, his partner Tshanna and their family will be overwhelming.

A big thank you to Wainwright Fire & Rescue for including Edgerton Emergency Services and Irma Fire Rescue in their industrial training exercise! 🚒

Training alongside other departments is one of the best ways to sharpen our skills, test our communication, and make sure we're all on the same page when it counts. Exercises like this help us work better together as a region, and we're glad to have had the chance to be part of it.

Appreciate Wainwright Fire & Rescue for organizing the runs and allowing us to join in on the fun!

Kace has taken an incredible step by joining our team, and we couldn't be prouder to have them on board. The dedication and courage it takes to step up and serve your community is something truly special, and Kace is already showing exactly that.

Watching new cadets grow into confident, skilled firefighters is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do — and we can't wait to see everything Kace accomplishes! 🔥

One of the most touching sights of the evening was a photo of the next generation—our kids looking on with wide eyes and proud smiles, already carrying that same spark. A reminder that while we may pass the torch one day, the fire of service will continue to burn bright.
