Today marks the final day of our annual firefighter fitness assessments, and our members are ready to finish strong!

Over the past few weeks, our paid-on-call firefighters have challenged themselves to test their strength, endurance, fitness, and determination — all with the goal of being better prepared for the demands of serving our community. 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

We’re incredibly proud of the effort our members have put in, and today is one more opportunity to push limits, chase personal bests, and leave it all on the floor!

If you’re in the area, come out and cheer on your local firefighters! 👏 Your support is always appreciated.

Our annual firefighter fitness assessments continue today as our paid-on-call members take on another day of testing their strength, endurance, and determination!

These assessments are an important part of staying physically prepared for the demands of emergency response — and our members are once again pushing themselves to improve and set new personal bests. 🔥

Join us this Canada Day for the Eckville Fire Department Open House & BBQ!

Stop by on Wednesday, July 1, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM for a free barbecue, station tours, firefighter demonstrations and activities for all ages.
