Have you ever wondered what a East Selkirk Fire practice night looks like? Well here is one - For our last practice we simulated 3 different types of Vehicle Extrication.
These drills are designed to recreate the pressure and unpredictability of real collisions so crews can build technical skill, coordination and confidence before facing actual emergencies.
Building muscle memory, improving coordination, increasing scene safety, developing calmness under pressure, identifying weaknesses as a group, and enhancing public confidence are just some of the reasons we practice.
