Wow. Our library had a thriving 2025! Make sure to check out their programs and have some visits in 2026 🎆

📚 Southgate Public Library — 2025 Year in Review ✨

Here are just a few highlights:
📖 27,626 items checked out
👥 17,380 library visits
🆕 355 new cardholders
📚 1,564 new items added
💻 2,227 computer uses
🤝 135 youth volunteer hours
🎉 500 programs held with 6,514 participants
🏆 625 people took part in our Reading Challenge

We also launched exciting new services and programs, including:
🌱 A Seed Library
📦 Literacy Kits & Launchpads
📚 A Black Author Showcase
🎩 Lofty the Magician
🐣 Story Time with Baby Chicks
🎃 Halloween PD Day Event
💻 Universal Class e-resource

We are so excited to announce our fall fundraiser with Mitchell's Soup Company!

Our fundraiser starts today and runs until Friday November 14. Your soups/desserts will be ready for pickup by the end of November.

There are two ways to order; using the link below or by stopping by the Southgate Public Library to order with the library staff.

All proceeds go towards the Southgate Ruth Hargrave Memorial Library programs and resources.
