Due to maintenance at the water treatment plant residents may experience reduced water pressure today.

Routine cleaning of the town reservoir is scheduled for the week of June 15, 2026. As a result of this maintenance, a precautionary water advisory may be issued. Residents may wish to keep this in mind and consider having a small supply of water on hand for drinking, cooking, and other household needs.

Road Repair Update

Crews will be busy making road improvements around town this week!

Watch for construction in these areas:
• Front Street (2nd Ave → 3rd Ave)
• Victoria Avenue (3rd St → 5th St)

Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to help reduce congestion. Be sure to follow all posted signage and give crews plenty of space to work safely.

Reminder: Transfer Station Day - final day at Duck Lake location
May 30, 2026
10:00 AM – 4:45 PM

Beginning in June, the Town of Duck Lake will partner with the RM of Duck Lake to share a Transfer Station. The facility, located south of MacDowall on Highway 11, will be available to Duck Lake residents during the following hours:
• Second Saturday of each month: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Fourth Saturday of each month: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Disposal fees:
• $2.00 per bag of waste
• $50.00 per ½-ton truckload

All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)
Residents are reminded to follow the regulations outlined in The All Terrain Vehicles Act. The operation of ATVs is NOT permitted on town streets, municipal property, or in parks.

Key provisions of the Act include:
• Section 4: No person under the age of 16 is permitted to operate an all-terrain vehicle.
• Section 18(1): All operators and passengers must wear an approved helmet and proper eye protection while the ATV is in operation.

Reporting Concerns
ATV-related concerns can be reported to the Community Safety Officer (CSO). Residents are encouraged to include date-stamped photos when submitting a report, as they can assist with investigation and enforcement.
