What a fantastic day for our community! 🏃‍♂️🏅

On Sunday, September 13th, the Rotary Club of Drumheller was proud to partner with the Dinosaur Valley Half Marathon Committee for their 16th annual event — with 602 runners taking on the Half Marathon, 10k, and Family 5k distances. Congratulations to every finisher who crossed the line and collected a well-deserved medal! 🎖️

We look forward to working closely with this dedicated group of community volunteers as we move together to make the event a Rotary event over the next few years.

Thank you to the runners, volunteers, and everyone who made the day such a success. Stay tuned — the 17th year is already in the works!

POPULAR ROTARY RADIO AUCTION RETURNS
October 15th is the date. This marks the occasion of the Rotary Radio Auction, a major fundraiser to benefit the community and area.
The auction is a fun event while raising funds for many Rotary projects in support of youth, families and seniors. The motto is
“Help Rotary Help the Community.
Auction Chair Graham Giffin says Rotary members will soon be visiting businesses for auction items. Each business receives advertising on-air, in the newspaper and online. In turn, all funds raised are directed back to the community projects.
People may bid over the telephone or, in person at the auction site, The Badlands Historical Centre from 6:00 pm to 10 pm on auction night. Plus everyone is invited to come to the auction site and pre-view and pre-bid on the afternoons of October 14th and 15th.
Through outstanding support in the past, the radio auctions have been something people look forward to. It’s a fun time and an opportunity to assist programs that benefit the community.

Grilling for Good! 🔥

When Manor1 needed a new BBQ, Rotary answered the call! 🍔

Thanks to the teamwork of Rotarians Barb Campbell and Kenny Smith, and a great deal from Canadian Tire, we delivered a grill big enough to feed all 30 residents at once.

Because at Rotary, we believe in Service Above Self—one burger at a time. 🇨🇦

Huge thank you to Freson Bros for donating all the food and handing over every penny from our July 1st Beef on a Bun to Rotary Drumheller. Our members grilled, our community showed up, and our youth programs win!
