Please join us in welcoming Martin Clouthier, Mapleton’s new Director of Infrastructure and Community Services!
We’re excited to welcome Martin to the Township of Mapleton team. Martin brings extensive experience in municipal public works, infrastructure and operations to his new role, along with a strong technical background.
Martin joins us from the Municipality of French River, where he spent the past eight years, serving primarily as Manager of Public Works. In this role, he oversaw employees and directed the day-to-day operations of the municipality’s road network maintenance, while ensuring health and safety compliance, coordinating training and managing administrative responsibilities.
Martin’s experience is supported by a strong educational and professional background. He holds diplomas in Civil Engineering Technology and Civil Engineering Technician from Cambrian College and is a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) and Certified Road Supervisor – Intermediate (CRS-I). He also holds an IPWEA Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning and successfully completed all eight modules of the Association of Ontario Road Supervisors’ Public Works Leadership Development Program.
With a passion for learning and exploring new and innovative ideas, Martin is looking forward to bringing his experience, knowledge and fresh perspective to Mapleton.
