The Drayton Valley Community Foundation is honoured to announce the creation of the 𝗜𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱.

Ian had a deep love of music and found joy, expression, and connection through playing guitar. Music was a constant companion throughout his life and reflected the passion, creativity, and spirit he shared with those around him.

Ian loved deeply, and his life mattered deeply. Through this fund, his legacy will continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

The Ian Henne Legacy of Hope Fund will support initiatives focused on 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 to keep playing, creating, and finding connection through it.

💔 It’s not you… it’s us. 💔

DV100 Family,

We need to have “the talk.”

After getting back together and making plans for 2026, we’ve realized the timing just isn’t right. Despite our best efforts, some factors beyond our control have forced us to hit the brakes on this year’s DV100 Race or Ride.

Trust us, this hurts us more than it hurts you.

You deserve a fully supported ride with amazing volunteers, scenic routes, great prizes, and the kind of event you’ve come to expect from DV100. Unfortunately, we can’t deliver that experience this year to the standard you deserve.

So… we’re taking a break.

Not a breakup. A break.

We’re already looking ahead and fully intend to come back stronger in 2027. Think of it as a year apart to work on ourselves.

Thank you for your support, patience, and understanding. We can’t wait to see you all back on the roads of Brazeau County next year.

Until then, keep riding, keep training, and remember…
