It is Lemonade Day! We had some wonderful kids in the library in May to attend Lemonade University and now they get to put their skills to use. On this warm day be sure to keep an eye out for our young entrepreneurs. You can use the link below to find the lemonade stands that will be around town. The map will show you the stand names, what they are offering (some have more than just your classic lemonade), and what they are saving for. Pick your favourite(s), stop by to grab a cup of lemonade, and ask them about their stand. Thank you for supporting our community!

Lemonade Day Northern Alberta is a free youth entrepreneurship program that teaches kids how to own & operate their own business - a Lemonade Stand. Lemonade University and Lemonade Day are offered in select Alberta towns each year.

If you took a peek through our June Newsletter, you might notice we have a new program called Awesome Adults! If there is enough interest we will run this monthly but first, we need to get some registrations rolling in so we know how many to expect this upcoming Tuesday, the 16th, at 6pm! We can't wait!

The 2:30-3:30 Conversation Circle is CANCELLED for today as per the Newcomer Support Team DV's request. However, we had D&D running tonight in the programming space!

Don't be surprised! It's Tuesday, which means we have Crafty Kids today! We will be making cute little octopus to celebrate the Dive Deep theme of our Summer Reading Club. As always, please pre-register so we can prep supplies (and while you are at it, check out the registration page for SRC). See you in your library!

It's TODAY!!!! It's TODAY!!!! Today our 2026 TD Summer Reading Club REGISTRATION opens!!! Be sure to swim on over to our website to register your child (ages 6-12) so they can join in on the fun! If you would prefer you can also float on down to the library to grab a paper copy from the circulation desk.

We will officially kick things off on July 6th but while you wait, we have a super fun Colouring Contest for any of our registrants! You can print off the page from here, or pop by the library to grab a paper copy. Make sure your full name and age are neatly written on the back. Finished pages can be dropped off at the library any time between now and July 3rd and we will announce the winners at our Kick Off Party on July 6th!

Keep your swim goggles on and your eyes open for more information to be posted as the waves roll us closer to our Kick Off Party!
