🔹 Kazakhstan and Canada’s Foreign Ministers Confirmed Commitment to Strengthening Partnership 🇰🇿🇨🇦

At the initiative of the Canadian side, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Anita Anand.

Minister Kosherbayev took the opportunity to congratulate his counterpart on the upcoming Canada Day. He noted the high level of bilateral political and economic cooperation, the positive dynamics of trade turnover, as well as the implementation of a number of major investment projects involving Canadian companies.

For her part, Minister Anand emphasized Canada’s interest in further expanding cooperation in the trade and economic, energy, investment, innovation, and education spheres, expressing readiness to maintain regular political dialogue and high-level exchanges.

The ministers also «compared the notes» on key issues of the international agenda and on current aspects of cooperation within multilateral formats.

🇨🇦 Telus Agriculture & Consumer Goods Delegation Visits the International AI Center alem.ai

During the visit, the delegation explored the center’s key AI initiatives, including the Singularity Museum and AI Cinema, featuring immersive AI-powered content.

🏫 Special attention was given to the center’s educational initiatives: Tomorrow School, a programming school based on a peer-to-peer learning model, and TUMO Astana, a creative technologies center for teenagers focused on developing the next generation’s digital, engineering, and creative skills.

The visit provided an important opportunity to strengthen international technology dialogue and showcase Kazakhstan’s potential in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital innovation 🚀

The Canada Session at AMM 2026 brought together government officials and leading Canadian mining companies to discuss Kazakhstan’s growing role as a global mining hub and opportunities for deeper bilateral cooperation.
