Residents of Tantramar are advised that CN Rail will be closing Cape Road at their rail crossing on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 between 9am and 2pm. There will be no thru access (emergency vehicles only).

PUBLIC NOTICE: Temporary Office Closure- The Tantramar Municipal office location in Dorchester at 4984 Main Street will experience a temporary closure as further building assessments are underway. The closure will be reevaluated on February 10th, 2023. In-person services are available in Sackville at 31 Main Street or by phoning 364-4930. OFFICE CLOSURE NOTICE: Residents are advised that the Dorchester offices will be closed today, Monday January 23, 2023, due to inclement weather. The Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for today will take place tomorrow, Tuesday January 24, 2023 at 3pm in Sackville Town Hall Council Chambers.
Residents are asked to stay off the roads as much as possible to help Public Works clear roads and sidewalks. Thank you.

As we transition to the new entity of Tantramar, some staff will work between the municipal offices in Dorchester and Sackville. The Dorchester Village Office will remain open for payments on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 8:30am to 12pm, or by appointment.
