Come on down and grab yourself a bowl of some good old-fashioned DFD chowder. Whether you’re stopping in for lunch, grabbing some to take home, or just coming by to support your local firefighters, we’d love to see you!

At Fort View Golf Course, we want to show our appreciation to the people who are there for our community when we need them most.

Throughout September, all First Responders can enjoy FREE green fees on Sunday afternoons after 1 PM! ⛳️

Wharf Rat Rally Weekend is here! 🏍️
The Wharf Rat Rally officially got underway last evening, and today the bikes are rolling into Digby as the weekend gets into full swing!
Digby Fire Department would like to wish all the bikers a fun, safe and memorable weekend here in Digby. We hope everyone gets out, enjoys the festivities, takes in the sights and sounds, and makes the most of the weekend.
To our local community, get out and enjoy everything the rally has to offer!
Most importantly, have fun, look out for one another, and drive safe. 🏍️🔥

It’s that time of year again!

Join us on Labour Day, Monday, September 7th for the Digby Fire Department’s renowned Seafood Chowder!

🥣 Take Out Only
⏰ 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
📍 Digby Firehall
💲 $20 per person

Each meal includes a bowl of our seafood chowder, a roll with butter, and a slice of pie.

Come out, grab a great supper and support the Digby Fire Department. We look forward to seeing everyone!

🚒📚 Welcome Back to School, Digby County! 📚🚒

The members of the Digby Fire Department would like to wish all students, staff, and families across Digby County a safe, successful, and enjoyable school year!

As we head back to school, we also want to remind everyone to stay safe. Students, be aware of your surroundings when walking or biking to school, use crosswalks when possible, and stay alert around traffic. Drivers, please slow down, watch for children, and be extra cautious around schools and school buses.

We hope this year is filled with learning, new friendships, and great memories. Work hard, be kind, look out for one another, and have a fantastic school year!

Another step in the right direction!
Great to see continued support for our local firefighters and emergency services. Initiatives like these help remove barriers, improve training and strengthen emergency preparedness in our communities.
