We are looking for a talented and dedicated organist/ choir director to lead our musical worship. Ideally, someone to provide traditional organ music, accompany the choir with hymns and support special services (weddings and funerals as needed)


We have a Casavant 2 manual p

ipe organ and a grand piano for both practice and services. Requirements: Proficiency in organ and piano. Experience in liturgical music. Position: Part time/Sunday mornings

Our regular groups and activities are beginning again after the summer break so here are some dates to mark on your calendar.

ACW meets on September 15th at 10 o’clock in the church office.

Our monthly Compline service will be held in the church on September 16th at 7 o’clock. If you haven’t yet attended, this is a short contemplative service of prayers before bed.

On September 19th we host Folk Festival at Trinity in the church hall from 4 until 11 o’clock with lots of great talent booked, food and drinks service available. There’s more details and ticket information as well in some earlier posts on this page. This event is a fundraiser for our Rose Window wall so we are very excited to welcome everyone. Tickets are limited so no dallying!

On the next day, Sunday, September 20th, we welcome Bishop Sandra Fyfe to Trinity for our regular 10 o’clock Holy Eucharist. Please join us all in giving her a warm welcome to Trinity.

Our Prayer Shawl group begins their fall get togethers on October 6th at 10:30 in the church. Please bring any project you are working on. Or, we have wool, patterns, needles & hooks available if are ready for a new project.

Everyone is welcome at Trinity to any and all of these events. We look forward to seeing you.

This is the last bit of work to complete the exterior work on our Rose Window wall. There was extra expense as we needed to hire a boom truck to reach the very high peaks.
Sefton Squires Historic Property Restoration is doing a very professional job.
None of this would have been possible without our participation in the Next Great Save contest earlier this year as well as the terrific level of community support from all of you.
We continue to fundraise for the interior work which still needs to be tackled.

You are all invited to our annual parish service together with Church of the Nativity in Sandy Cove on August 30th at 11 a.m.

This will be followed by another annual event, our church picnic, at nearby Lake Midway. Please bring your own lunch and beverages. In the event of rain, our picnic lunch will be at the Sandy Cove fire hall.

Also note that there will be NO SERVICE at Trinity on Aug. 30.

More updates on the exterior work, close to completion on the exterior wall which holds the Rose Window and large triptych.
The wall has been repaired and the next step is the installation of plexiglass to further protect the wall and stained glass.
Most of the painting is complete already and will be finished once the windows are sealed.
Next will be the interior work…..it is a very big job.

Yes! In September, please join our choir!
Being a lifelong choir member wherever I’ve lived, I can attest that all of these things are true.
Never sung in a choir before? No problem!
Not sure if you’re good enough? No problem!
We all learn and grow together, supporting each other as we go…that’s the joy of choir.
