Conditions are favourable for the development of frost tonight.

Locations: all of Nova Scotia.

Minimum temperatures: near zero in low lying areas.

Time span: overnight tonight into Monday morning.

Remarks: Showers are expected to end this evening and the cloud is expected to partially clear out by morning. This will lead to temperatures dropping near zero overnight in some areas.

Damage to plants, trees, and crops is possible.

Frost advisories are issued when widespread frost or freezing temperatures are expected during the growing season.

Public washrooms and shower are all open for the season.

For those who don't know there are three public washrooms downtown Digby one in front of the Bandstand on Montague Row near the Town of Digby Visitor Centre, one at the entrance to Digby Centre( Marina Parking lot) and the third one with a shower unit located at the rear of the Digby Station Building. All are open from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM daily.

Today is the Big Day! The Ocean Blue Fun Run! We have 5 schools competing in a 4.2 km race in Digby along with the International Peace Run! PLEASE DRIVE WITH CAUTION in and around Digby Elementary School-
The race route is Victoria, King, Church, Prince William! Limited access to Shreve Street between 9:45-10:30 am.

Tuesday May 26, 2026 please attend our Planning Open House at Digby Fire Hall 163 First Avenue from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM this is an opportunity for you to talk with the Committee on the draft Municipal Planning Strategy and draft Land Use By law for the Town of Digby.

Now is the time to bring forward your input and comments regarding the upcoming zoning changes.
