Interesting to see that Robin Wall Kimmerer's 2024 book The Serviceberry is number nine on this week's Globe and Mail list of international non-fiction hardcover books! We have this book in the library. It "builds on many of the ideas in [Wall Kimmerer's previous book] Braiding Sweetgrass, which applies Indigenous knowledge and ideas about reciprocity to ecology and science."
The library is open 1:30 - 3:30 Monday through Saturday.
And don't forget about our Big Book Bonanza Sales taking place Sunday Sept 6 during the Blackberry Faire and Saturday Sept 12 at the library 1:30 - 3:30.
Sales are by donation and will go toward a much-needed renovation of the library.
