Some love stories are built through life’s hardest seasons. 💙

After years of caring for their partners through Alzheimer’s and dementia, Bill and Geramy found friendship, understanding, and eventually love through shared experiences of caregiving and community support.

This spring, they celebrated their marriage by giving back to the KinVillage Day Program for Older Adults, the very program that once gave them comfort, support, and time to simply be spouses again. In honour of Marilyn and Ron, they raised more than $6,000 to support other families navigating dementia and caregiving.

A beautiful reminder that even in difficult chapters, connection, compassion, and community can change lives.

For many older adults, community spaces are more than just buildings, they’re places of connection, friendship, support, and belonging.

At KinVillage, our Community Centre Redevelopment is about building community for the future and creating spaces where seniors can continue to stay active, connected, and supported for generations to come.

We’re grateful to be part of these important conversations with our community and to share more about the vision behind this project.

A heartfelt thank you to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 289 Tsawwassen for your generous donation of art and gaming supplies to our Older Adults Day Program.

The Legion plays an important role in our community by supporting veterans, seniors, families, and local programs through advocacy, volunteerism, and charitable giving. Their kindness and community spirit make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.

Behind 24 volunteer-led programs at KinVillage is something you can’t measure in numbers alone: presence, care, and real human connection.
