Check out the June StoryWalks!

The StoryWalk® Project is a coordinated effort with the Rotary Clubs throughout Delta that integrates reading and nature through the presentation of a deconstructed children’s book. Display stands that feature a different page of book are laminated and placed along a designated trail. These stands also feature fun physical literacy prompts, like hopping to the next sign post.

Hey, teens! The May and June TAG meetings will take place at McKee Seniors Recreation Centre (5155 47 Avenue, Delta) while the Ladner library is closed for renovations.

Are you between the ages of 13-19 and want to volunteer at the library? Join the Ladner Pioneer Library Teen Advisory Group (TAG). Members help staff develop teen-oriented programs and assist at library events. Monthly meetings are a time to socialize and plan. Did we mention that there’s snacks?

New members are always welcome. Pick up an application form at the pop-up library at Ladner Community Centre (4734 51 Street, Delta) or there will be forms available at the meetings at McKee Seniors Recreation Centre: May 12 and June 2 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

📚Ladner Pioneer Library Reno Closure📚

Exciting changes are coming! The Ladner Pioneer Library is temporarily CLOSED, as we begin a targeted interior renovation. We look forward to welcoming you back to a refreshed space in mid to late August 2026.

📍 Pop-Up Library
Starting May 6, visit our pop-up location at the neighbouring Ladner Community Centre (4734 51 Street, Delta) during regular library hours. You’ll be able to:
• Browse and borrow from a small popular collection
• Pick up holds
• Return items

🌳 Programs & Events
Library events will continue at the Gazebo in Memorial Park. Stay tuned for dates and times at www.fvrl.ca/events.
