Whoops! We had a bit of a date mix up with yesterday’s post. These are the correct dates for Mural Jam.

Mural Jam 2026 is bringing new art to downtown Dartmouth from September 26-27 in partnership with HALIFAX MURAL FESTIVAL and Trackside Studios

We are so excited to have some new public art come to live in downtown Dartmouth to continue to continue to beautify the area.

A big thank you to Councillor Austin and Councillor Mancini for their support.

Join us TODAY Monday, September 7 at Sullivan’s Pond from 1-5PM for the Labour Day Weekend Picnic in the Park featuring The Mellotones & Isabelle Foster.

Enjoy a licensed area where you will be able to purchase craft beverages from our local businesses, a community BBQ, an area with chairs as well as ample space to lay out a blanket and enjoy the live music from Isabelle Foster and The Mellotones!

From 2-2:20 enjoy Isabelle Foster, a young Canadian-Italian singer-songwriter who writes relatable, emotional songs as well as upbeat tracks. Drawing influence from artists such as Lizzy McAlpine and Olivia Rodrigo, she explores the emotional rollercoaster of growing up, capturing the honesty and complexity of teenage life in her lyrics.

🚨PICNIC IN THE PARK POSTPONED TO MONDAY🚨

Due to the cold and damp weather forecast for Sunday, Picnic in the Park at Sullivan’s Pond has been postponed to Monday, September 7th from 1-5pm.

Monday is looking like perfect picnic and concert weather with sunshine in the forecast, so the programming will be taking place at the same time as originally scheduled, just 24 hours later.

Bring your blanket, bring your friends and join us at Sullivan’s Pond for live music from Isabelle Foster and The Mellotones, a community barbecue, local craft beverages and a great afternoon in the park.
