PLEASE BE BEAR AWARE. A large black bear was spotted in a yard in the vicinity of the boat launch. This sighting was yesterday evening.

The Fire Ban at Atton's Lake has been lifted effective June 4th 2026, the board reserves the right to place a fire ban at any time. Please burn responsibly.

FIRE BAN
Due to current conditions Atton's Lake Regional Park Authority has placed a fire ban on the entirety of Atton's Lake Regional Park EFFECTIVE MAY 26th, 2026. Absolutely no outdoor burning is allowed during the ban.
Propane BBQ's, patio heaters or fire bowls are allowed during the ban. Burning of combustible materials other than propane in/on these devices is not allowed. Please use these appliances with care and diligence. The Park Authority reserves the right to disallow the use of outdoor propane burning appliances if it is deemed that use of them is posing a fire hazard.

Due to the weather the clubhouse will be closed this afternoon and the morning of the 16th. Depending on if conditions improve the clubhouse may open the afternoon of the 16th.
