Exciting News & A Heartfelt Thank You

After over 20 incredible years of serving our community with unwavering care and compassion, Melanie has made the heartfelt decision to pass the torch.

We’re proud to announce that Commitment to Care Resources is now Kootenay Roots Homecare. While the name is new, the heart remains the same. Our amazing staff continues on, and the ownership has transitioned from Melanie to Dawn, who has worked closely with Melanie for over a decade.

Dawn is honoured to carry forward the same trusted care, values, and warmth that Melanie poured into every client and family. Your loved ones will continue to be in the very best hands.

CRESTON INQUIRY

We are helping an older gentleman in Creston find someone to live in his basement at no charge, in exchange for help with meal prep, light housekeeping and some yard work. The space has its own bathroom, bed, living room but the kitchen and laundry would be shared spaces.

CRESTON IS HIRING! We are growing and are currently looking to hire one staff for companion care and cleaning. Hours are flexible, above average pay and the opportunity to add more clients if you want. This client is a perfect job if you want a few hours to fill in during the day but don’t want a huge commitment right now.

COMMITMENT TO CARE has been working hard to build up our staff base (and they are truly amazing) and we are happy to scream to the world that we are now accepting new clients and able to handle both short and longer term commitments as well as overnight care.
We offer a variety of services from companion time, grocery shopping and meal prep, personal care, as well as private LPN and RN services. There isn’t a lot that this line up of workers can’t do. It’s a great time to reach out if you have any questions or just want to give it a try one day a week!

*Sometimes our favorite seniors can be hard to find a gift for, a once a week service from us can be a great solution to add in a little support or just keep them company and go for coffee!*

Do you need a flexible job, something to compliment another job or to work around your kids?! THIS IS IT!
We are looking 1-2 part time staff to start immediately. There is a variety of shifts availbale, priority given to those who have Saturday and Sunday availability and also those willing to do a few night shifts a week.
